Land hermit crabs make wonderful pets. They are clean, easy to care for , and provide a nice inexpensive gift for anyone from the very young to the very old.

 

This site is a never ending work in progress. As we acquire more sealife and hermit crab images we will be adding them to the site. Some sections may not have a lot of hermit crab pictures at this time but rest assured that we will be adding to them regularly.

Coenobita clypeatus, or Land Hermit Crabs have become an extremely popular, low maintenance pet over the years. They can be found throughout the Western Atlantic and are common from the southern tip of Florida throughout the Caribbean. They live near water only returning to sea to lay their eggs. Learn more
